Psychics are Evil…NOT!
I’ve had clients who expressed having some mild anxiety before their readings. As children, many of our parents steered us away from spiritualists and mediums by way of comments such as “That’s evil!” “The Bible says it’s wrong!” “You’re inviting bad entities if you see a fortune teller!” “Psychics are conduits for the devil!” So, what does a child do when they naturally commune with deceased loved ones and have premonitions that come true? Sadly, with no adult support, they stuff down their God-given abilities and hide who they really are.
After 4 decades of stuffing myself, there came a day when I could no longer hold my abilities in secret. It dawned on me that biologically we are animals. God/Creator has given every creature on earth, an internal mechanism for navigating a sometimes-hostile environment. I realized how many troubling consequences I could have averted if I had listened to my solar plexus — just one spot in my body where my intuition speaks. Instead I had been taught to NOT trust myself or my inner guidance and like most of us, when the feeling in my gut screamed “No!” I went ahead anyway and got into some hair-raising situations. Our feelings are there for a good reason and we all have them. The secret is in learning that we are not “evil” or “corrupt” for paying attention to God’s gift to us to keep us safe and living in joy!
LOVE IN ACTION
Since I began trusting my intuition, I also realized how healing this ability can be. I once had a strong feeling I should deliver a certain gift to a woman who had become reclusive after losing her husband. I had a dream in which I felt that the husband had given me a message to deliver to his wife. I did not know them well and at first I hesitated when I heard the old voices playing in my head that this might be coming from a dark place. But a friend encouraged me to follow through and it turned out that the gift I delivered contained several things that connected the wife to her husband, unbeknownst to me. The woman thanked me over and over and I became one of the few people she would come to the phone for. The gift was healing for her as well as for me, because I learned that I could help people by trusting myself. I’ve had so many of these experiences that I no longer hold back.
When I see the glow on someone’s face who is at the receiving end of one of my readings, I am certain that properly done readings — treating the client with respect and compassion — are blessed by God. When the intent is Love, there is nothing dark or evil about psychic readings or connecting with the spirits of deceased loved ones. If you say you believe in a Heaven, then why wouldn’t that include continuing to relate to our loved ones on earth after we die? I see no difference between the prophets of old who connected to their God, than a modern day psychic who foresees beneficial outcomes for others.
NO ONE TO BLAME
There are many people who like to find someone to blame when “bad” things happen, and psychics have sometimes been in the line of fire. In truth both the good and the distressing happen to all of us throughout life. There is nothing to blame but life itself. We live in a chaotic, ever-changing world and ups and downs have been the pattern throughout history. The ethical psychics I know always open with a prayer asking for guidance from the highest place. I have found that the worst things that happen come from ignorance, hate, and blind following of doctrines that were originally designed to help fill the coffers of corrupt, dishonest individuals and groups.
